The role:
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Events Manager to join our growing European team in London on a part-time basis. This is a 10-month FTC role that offers ownership of the full event lifecycle and co-ordination, ideally suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys multitasking and variety. You will report directly to the Head of Business Development and Co-Head of Europe at Global X ETFs.
You will manage the end-to-end planning and execution of regional and Pan-European events – from strategy and budgeting, to speaker coordination, marketing collateral, and assets delivery. You will work closely with Sales Leads, Marketing, Global X leadership, Investment Strategy, Design and external partners to ensure events are strategically aligned, delivered on time, and stay within budget.
This role will suit someone with excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a collaborative mindset. You will help execute a wide range of event activities – from managing the events calendar, contracts, reporting and compliance requirements, to coordinating marketing materials, sponsorship opportunities, venue sourcing and production for internal Global X events.
Primary Responsibilities:
Event Planning & Coordination
* Coordinate end-to-end planning and delivery of all aspects related to regional and Pan-European sponsored and Global X hosted client events held in EMEA, including Global X internal events.
* Liaise with external event organisers and internal teams to confirm participation, speakers, timelines, logistics and deliverables.
* Support event delivery, ensuring materials and logistics are in place and liaise with AV on hiring requirements
* Maintain central events calendar, manage diary placeholders and circulate calendar quarterly.
Budget, Contracts & Compliance
* Lead the annual budgeting and planning cycle by gathering event options for year ahead, negotiating fees, and working with Sales Leads and Global X leadership to agree regional event selections.
* Track all related event costs in both marketing and events budget spreadsheets.
* Submit all event contracts to legal for review and coordinate signatories.
* Manage event invoicing processes, ensuring accurate cost allocation.
* Assist with compliance and audit reporting when required.
* Monthly reporting of events entity and contracts summary to leadership, legal and compliance.
Marketing Assets & Promotion
* Coordinate event-related marketing materials, including printing, merchandise, and collateral orders.
* Work with design team and liaise with marketing on artwork for booth designs.
* Liaise with Marketing and Social teams on event promotion and content opportunities.
* Contribute to merchandise planning and stock replenishment requests.
Desired Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience in event planning and coordination, ideally within the asset management industry.
* Able to work independently as sole Global X events representative, managing full end-to-end delivery.
* Solid organisational and multitasking skills, with excellent attention to detail while managing multiple events and deadlines.
* Confident communicator, able to liaise effectively with internal teams, Global X leadership, and external event partners.
* Proactive and resourceful, capable of managing the full event lifecycle from strategy and budgeting to delivery and post-event evaluation.
* Comfortable with budget management, contracts, compliance, and reporting in a regulated environment.
