NonStop Care is working with one of the most reputable Health-care providers in Cumbria in order to help them find a Lead Psychologist for one of their services - Learning Disability and Autism service which provides care and support to 16 adults who have a learning disability and/or mental health needs.
You will be working for an amazing company with over 8,000 employees and a unique approach to the delivery of care. They have a network of over 90 services across England and Wales covering Mental Health, Neurological, Learning Disabilities & Autism, Children & Education. This is why there is opportunity for you to grow and move.
Responsibilities of the Lead Psychologist:
* You will support across 2 care homes with LD and Autism (one in Kendal, one in Workington)
* You can be full-time or part-time for whichever home is closer
* Carry out individual or group interventions, diagnostic, cognitive assessments
* Facilitate staff reflective practice session
* Design and deliver training
Requirements:
Must be a driver and have access to own car
Must have experience working as Clinical, Counselling or Forensic Psychologist
Must have experience with adults with learning difficulties and autism
