We are working with a leading construction and infrastructure contractor with a long-standing history of delivering major projects across Scotland. They specialise in complex building, civil engineering, and regeneration works, consistently focusing on innovation, sustainability, and community engagement. Their strong regional presence in Inverness underpins a commitment to high standards of health, safety, and quality on every site.
They are currently looking for a General Foreman to lead and manage the on-site workforce, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of key projects in the Inverness area.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate site operatives and subcontractors daily
Maintain high standards of health & safety and quality across the site
Manage day-to-day site operations to meet programme and budget targets
Collaborate with site management and other disciplines to ensure seamless project delivery
Monitor work progress and proactively resolve site issues
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Foreman within building or civil engineering projects
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent knowledge of health & safety practices and quality management
Ability to motivate teams and maintain high performance on site
Relevant CSCS card and safety qualifications
