I am delighted to be supporting a close knit, forward thinking architectural practice whose excellent reputation and success has been driven through their substantial experience in delivering creative designs inspired by their stunning surroundings of the South Coast. They are specialist within the residential sector working on varying scale projects from extensions to luxury private homes to larger developments. Working for this RIBA Chartered closeknit, collaborative practices ensures you will become an integral member of a growing practice who are dedicated to providing continued professional development opportunities, whilst working on a range of exciting projects. With a number of projects in the pipeline they are keen to for an Architectural Technician to join the friendly office.
The successful Architectural Technician will have proven record across the later RIBA stages, with strong technical expertise, and experience across residential projects.
Skills, Experience and Responsibilities for the role of Architectural Technician:
1. Substantial relevant post qualification experience in the UK
2. A degree in architectural technology or similar HND/HNC
3. Technical expertise in Vectorworks is beneficial
4. Sector experience in residential of varying scales and ideally bespoke homes
5. A passionate and self-motivated approach to work and professional development
6. Experience managing a small team and projects
7. Excellent communication skills
8. Substantial experience on the later RIBA stages (4 onwards)
9. Job running experience
10. Keen eye for detail
11. Understanding of BIM Models
12. Good working knowledge of up-to-date building regulations
13. Live locally to the Dorset area
14. Work well in a close-knit team
15. Excellent knowledge across construction stages
16. Confident liaising with contractors, clients and other professionals
17. Hit the ground running
18. Passionate about high quality innovative technical drawings
19. Keen to continue progression and input to company growth
