Overview
We are looking to appoint a Paediatric Epilepsy Nurse Practitioner who brings innovation, specialist skills, and enthusiasm to lead the nursing element of our Paediatric Epilepsy Service. The successful candidate will work as an integral part of the Specialist Paediatric Nursing Team and will be supported to provide visible leadership and effective management to the epilepsy team, ensuring the delivery of high‑quality, CYP‑centred care.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate closely with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive, coordinated, and effective approaches across the service.
* Champion quality improvement initiatives and demonstrate a clear commitment to promoting and embedding Trust values within everyday practice.
* Provide specialist advice and assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
* Act as lead specialist in a defined area.
* Provide specialist education and training to staff, students, carers, and patients.
* Undertake research and lead clinical audits in own specialist area.
