The Team supports children & young people up to 18 years of age in the Cheshire area.

We are looking for Team Managers who will form part of the leadership team. Team Managers are responsible for the day-to-day management and leadership of a multidisciplinary team.
As Team Manager you will be supported by Clinical Coordinators, Principal Psychologists as well as Psychiatry colleagues.
The Team Manager role will be part of the leadership Team for Cheshire CYP's service and reports to Deputy Head of Clinical Services.
We have 2.30 Band 7 posts available: 37.5 hrs ( Full Time Post). Part time working will be considered.

Main duties of the job
To manage, lead and be accountable for the provision of high quality effective leadership and management of the team and ensure an optimum level of safe and effective patient care within budgetary resources.
Develop the team with a multidisciplinary approach and using developed managerial and leadership skills underpinned by quality improvement knowledge to promote excellent working practice, promoting the rights of service users in line with national and regional strategies.
The role includes:
1. Developing & implementing service development plans
2. Providing clinical supervision and support to staff
3. Ensuring that the team meets its performance targets
4. Representing the team at multi-agency meetings and forums

Essential
* Masters or equivalent level qualification in health/social care
* Core profession (Social Work, Nurse, Allied Health Professional)
* Professional Registration with recognised National Body (HCPC, NMC, Social Work England)
* Nationally recognised post-qualification, continuous professional development (CPD) related to the core profession (Social Work, Nurse, Allied Health Professional).
* Recognised management qualification to level 7 or equivalent management experience and training
