We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Assistant to join our team. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the properties we manage are well-maintained and safe for our residents. You will assist with repairs, routine maintenance, and support in a variety of tasks to keep our residential buildings in excellent condition. What's on offer: Rate of pay: £18.00 - £20.00 per hour Hours per week: Full Time Shift options available Monthly Pay Permanent position Confirmed start dates: on or before 01st October 2025 Key Responsibilities: Assist in the repair and maintenance of residential properties, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work. Conduct routine inspections of the properties to identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly. Respond to maintenance requests from residents in a timely manner. Perform cleaning and upkeep of common areas, ensuring a tidy and pleasant environment. Assist with the coordination of outside contractors for larger repair and maintenance projects when needed. Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used for reporting purposes. Comply with all health and safety regulations while performing maintenance tasks. Requirements Previous experience in a maintenance role or similar field is preferred. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general repairs. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
