We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Assistant to join our team. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the properties we manage are well-maintained and safe for our residents. You will assist with repairs, routine maintenance, and support in a variety of tasks to keep our residential buildings in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the repair and maintenance of residential properties, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
* Conduct routine inspections of the properties to identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
* Respond to maintenance requests from residents in a timely manner.
* Perform cleaning and upkeep of common areas, ensuring a tidy and pleasant environment.
* Assist with the coordination of outside contractors for larger repair and maintenance projects when needed.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used for reporting purposes.
* Comply with all health and safety regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a maintenance role or similar field is preferred.
* Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general repairs.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Must have a valid UK driver's license and access to a vehicle for transportation between sites.
