Working on behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Fire Remediation Supervisor for a long-term project based in Cardiff, South Wales.
This role supports the delivery of a secured programme of fire safety and compliance works across residential and commercial buildings. The successful candidate will assist in supervising day-to-day site activities and ensuring all works are completed safely, compliantly, and to a high standard.
Scope of Works
The project includes fire safety remediation works such as compartmentation, fire stopping, cladding remediation, and associated upgrades within occupied and non-occupied buildings.
Key Duties
Supervising day-to-day site operations and fire remediation works
Managing operatives and subcontractors on site
Overseeing fire stopping, compartmentation, and associated remedial works
Ensuring health & safety standards are met and maintained at all times
Assisting with site coordination alongside the Site Manager and Contracts Manager
Monitoring quality of workmanship and reporting any issues
Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and specifications
Supporting toolbox talks and site inductions
Assisting with RAMS implementation and site documentation
What We Are Looking For in the Successful Candidate
Proven experience as a Supervisor on fire remediation or fire safety projects
SSSTS (essential)
CSCS Gold or Black Card (Supervisor/Manager level)
Fire Marshal / Fire Warden Certification
First Aid at Work
Strong trade background (e.g. carpentry, drylining, fire stopping, brickwork, etc.)
Ability to supervise trades and maintain site standards
Strong communication and organisational skills
Full UK driving licence
Desirable Experience
Experience working on high-rise or occupied buildings
Knowledge of current fire safety regulations and remediation standards
Experience liaising with clients and residents
