What You’ll Do: Assist in preparing and delivering safe, hygienic food services for patients and visitors, including assembling and transporting meal trays. Accurately take and record refreshment orders, ensuring all allergies and dietary needs are clearly communicated and followed. Provide a courteous, high-quality service on the ward, supporting patients with meals and ensuring timely delivery of all refreshments. Maintain strict hygiene, cleanliness and infection-control standards, including washing equipment, managing stock, monitoring wastage and completing required documentation. Communicate professionally and calmly, follow all policies and safety procedures, report issues promptly, and support the wider catering team as needed.
