Are you a Teaching Assistant looking for a, long-term role in a supportive primary school?
We are working with a well-regarded school in Blackpool seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to join their Year 2 class from November 2025. This is a classroom-based role with ongoing responsibilities, offering the chance to make a real impact on pupils' progress.
The Role
* Supporting pupils in a Year 2 class with their learning and development
* Delivering small group interventions in phonics, literacy, and numeracy
* Assisting with classroom routines, displays, and pupil engagement
* Working closely with the class teacher and wider KS1 team
* Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
What We’re Looking For
* Experience working in a primary school setting (KS1 preferred)
* Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification (or equivalent experience)
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills
* A proactive and nurturing approach to supporting children
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
