We are recruiting for the Trainee Teaching Assistant to work in secondary schools across the BS15 area of Bristol. The Trainee Teaching Assistant is ideal for someone looking to gain classroom experience and begin a career in education.
As a Trainee Teaching Assistant, you’ll support students in lessons, work closely with teachers, and build the skills needed to succeed in a school setting.
What You’ll Be Doing in the Trainee Teaching Assistant

2. Assisting teachers with classroom activities and lesson preparation
3. Helping students stay focused and engaged with their learning
4. Supporting behaviour and encouraging positive classroom routines

Training for the Trainee Teaching Assistant
Before starting your placement as a Trainee Teaching Assistant, you’ll complete our National Teaching Assistant Programme, which includes:

10. SEN Awareness in Schools and Colleges
This training is provided free of charge and will prepare you for your Trainee Teaching Assistant placement.
