Job summary
As a key member of our Management Team, you will have an integral and influential role across our range of therapeutic and other services supporting children, young people and adults, with direct managerial responsibility of our Creative Therapeutic Services team and operational leadership of clinical governance and continuous service development and improvement.
You will have a proven record of accomplishment in service improvement and innovative practice as well as supporting colleagues to deliver the best services possible. A passion for working with the community and maintaining strong professional networks are essential to the success of this newly created role.
If you are qualified to Level 5 or higher in counselling or psychotherapy and an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling (BACP) and have the drive and determination to improve the lives of people within our communities, then please apply.
Main duties of the job
Leading the MHCT Creative Therapeutic operational activities, counselling practitioners, and working closely with the Operations and Development Executive and other service managers, the Clinical Lead will assist in the growth of the service, contribute to the recruitment, appraisal, and continuous professional development of staff, and ensure the activities of MHCT counsellors are ethical, safe, and effective.

Main duties and responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Operations and Development Executive, the Clinical Lead is a key role for Murray Hall Community Trust (MHCT). This role requires a supportive and knowledgeable clinical manager, with professional and compassionate leadership skills, who has a commitment to providing effective, therapeutic counselling support to our therapists and Creative Therapeutic Services Team (CTS). The Clinical Lead will focus on continuous service quality improvements and on establishing professional relationships with service users, stakeholders, funders, and commissioners to develop and advance service delivery, ensuring funding sustainability and service innovation.
