They will lead the development of high‑quality teaching and learning strategies, support and coach staff at all stages of their careers, and promote a culture of continuous professional development. This role focuses on shaping and driving excellence in classroom practice across the school, with an emphasis on securing strong outcomes in core subjects.

* Shape and drive classroom practice excellence, especially in core Maths and Science subjects.
Qualifications
* Outstanding and innovative Assistant Principal for Teaching & Learning.
* Subject specialism in Maths or Science is preferred.
* Highly effective practitioner with a deep understanding of evidence‑informed pedagogy.
* Proven track record of improving teaching quality and student outcomes.
* Experience in leadership and staff development in a secondary school setting.
* Clear commitment to safeguarding and welfare of all children.
Safeguarding and DBS
Posts working with children and/or vulnerable adults will be subject to disclosure of criminal records. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check. All staff are expected to share a commitment to the welfare and safeguarding of children.
