- Nominate Recruitment is excited to partner with a transport company based in Ballymena, seeking an Administrator to join their Compliance Department.
The successful candidate will support the Compliance Team in ensuring the haulage business adheres to all relevant transport regulations and safety standards in the UK. Responsibilities include monitoring driver compliance, maintaining records, assisting with audits, and ensuring adherence to industry legislation such as Operator Licensing, DVSA, and company policies.
The Right Role:
1. Assist in ensuring compliance with DVSA regulations, Operator Licensing requirements, and Health & Safety laws.
2. Monitor driver and vehicle compliance, including tachograph analysis and driver hours regulations.
3. Maintain accurate records for drivers, including bi-annual licensing checks.
4. Support the preparation of compliance reports and audits.
5. Conduct internal compliance checks and assist with external audits.
6. Monitor and report any non-compliance issues to management.
7. Assist in investigating and resolving compliance-related incidents.
8. Communicate regulatory updates and company policies to drivers.
9. Support in implementing and updating compliance procedures and ensure they are upheld.
The Right Fit:
1. Experience in compliance, transport, or administration (preferred).
2. Knowledge of UK haulage regulations and transport compliance.
3. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
