Junior Front-end Developer (Remote)
We’re looking for a talented Freelance Front-end Developer to join Modal, an award-winning web design and development agency. What You’ll Do
* Build and maintain responsive, high-performance websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React or Vue.js.
* Work closely with our design and development teams to bring pixel-perfect UI/UX designs to life.
* Optimise web applications for speed, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
* Learn and grow in a collaborative environment, working with cutting-edge web technologies.
* Contribute ideas to improve workflow, performance, and overall development processes.
What We’re Looking For
* 3+ years of experience (or strong portfolio/projects) in front-end development.
* Solid understanding of HTML, CSS (SASS/SCSS), JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive design.
* Experience with React, Vue.js or other front-end frameworks (a plus, but not required).
* Familiarity with Git, Webflow, Figma, and CMS platforms like WordPress or Shopify (nice to have).
* Passion for learning new technologies, clean code, and web performance.
* A creative mindset with great attention to detail.
