An exciting opportunity for a qualified finance professional to join a high-performing public sector finance team as a Senior Accountant within their Financial Strategy team. You will play a central role in shaping and delivering long-term financial plans that support key decision-making at the highest level.

Responsibilities
* Lead the development of the Medium-Term Financial Strategy
* Partner with senior stakeholders across services and corporate functions
* Analyze and scrutinize spending plans, pressures, and corporate functions
* Oversee key revenue funding streams including grants and council tax
* Support budget planning and monitoring processes
* Provide insight and advice to boards and strategic leadership teams
* Contribute to financial reporting and statutory returns
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate should have:
* CCAB Qualified Accountant (e.g., CIPFA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
* Experience in a strategic or business partnering finance role
* Ability to influence and engage non-finance stakeholders effectively
Job Offer
* Salary up to £49,000
