Role and Location
Exciting opportunity for Band 3 Health Care Support Workers to join the ECMS – Medical Specialities teams within the Royal Alexandra Hospital. Posts will be based in wards 8 (Cardiology), 10 (diabetes, Haematology, endocrinology), 11 (respiratory) and 14 (general medical/respiratory). Please state clearly which area you are interested in when applying.
Responsibilities
* Become part of the nursing team to support the assessment, planning and delivery of specialist care.
* Demonstrate ability to engage in a positive ward culture and support the clinical team.
* Engage in programmes of care to enhance the patient journey and patient experience, contributing to positive outcomes using the Excellence in Care framework.
* Work under the Senior Charge Nurse and be able to work on your own merit while being supported by colleagues and maintaining productive team dynamics.
* Be innovative and creative within your organisational role.
Requirements and Availability
* Significant experience as a Band 2 healthcare support worker and be able to evidence this at interview.
