Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various premises. The ideal candidate will ensure that environments are safe, tidy, and welcoming for clients and staff alike. This role offers an opportunity to work in diverse settings, including commercial, hospitality, and residential environments, contributing to a high standard of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces
* Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards
* Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning materials as needed
* Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working order
* Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or hazards
* Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
* Assist with specialised cleaning tasks when required, including carpet cleaning or window washing
* Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with clients and colleagues
Experience
* Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
* Experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality environments is advantageous
* Skills in cooking or customer service are considered beneficial for roles involving client interaction or catering support
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures is a plus
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to organisational standards

Pay: £13.00-£15.79 per hour
