Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
This role will be within our Demand management and network infrastructure team. We look after 60 million meters and our teams provide advanced metering solutions to help manage demand for essential suppliers.

What will you be doing?
As the Stores Supervisor you'll be part of our Smart Metering Team responsible for installing smart meters across London and the Thames Valley areas.
You'll ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day operations in stores and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
We'll need you to maintain healthy stock availability for the business demand and ensure the yard never runs too low on any stock items.
You'll conduct regular stock takes of meters, materials, fittings, and plant. You will share workload reports, coordinate holidays, and work as a coherent team.
You'll liaise regularly with the Stores Manager and report any issues promptly. You will also support in improving the organization and location of items in the yard and warehouse.
You will report issues to the Procurement Manager and will be required to take delivery of goods using a Telehandler when needed.
What you’ll bring
* People management experience
* Ability to build and maintain a team
* Stores and stock management experience
* Experience with order-wise or digital stock systems (preferred)
* Forklift and telehandler training (desirable)
* Full clean driving licence (essential)
* Familiarity with MS Excel, Microsoft 365 & MS Word (desirable)
