They design and deliver instructional programs tailored to the needs of their students, ensuring that they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and abilities to succeed in their chosen careers. This role requires a combination of subject matter expertise, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement curriculum and training materials tailored to specific vocational subjects. Assess learners' needs and customise training programs accordingly. Conduct classroom and hands-on training sessions to teach essential skills and knowledge. Evaluate students' progress through tests, assignments, and practical assessments. Provide individual support and mentorship to help students overcome learning challenges. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to ensure training content is current and relevant. Collaborate with industry professionals to enhance training programs and provide real-world insights. Maintain accurate records of students' attendance, progress, and achievements. Ensure a safe and conducive learning environment, adhering to all relevant safety and regulatory standards. Essential Requirements Instructor Qualification, Vocational Training, or a related field. Previous experience in a vocational training or teaching role. Strong knowledge of instructional design and SEN learning principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs. Proven track record of successfully training and developing individuals. Familiarity with BTEC Qualifications and structures. Certified in relevant vocational or technical field. At least 2-3 years of experience in the subject area to be taught. About the School Crookhey Hall School is a Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) School which caters for boys and girls aged 10 - 17 years of age.
