An exciting opportunity has come up for a suitable candidate to step into the role of temporary Acting Head of Science at Outwood Academy Hasland Hall.
Whilst this role is temporary the academys commitment to professional development suggests it could be a rare opportunity to gain valuable hands‑on experience in the role of Acting Head of Science.
About the department
At Outwood Academy Hasland Hall the science department is fully staffed with a broad range of experience levels who work collegiately together to ensure the best possible outcomes for all. We have the privilege to teach outstanding students who have the potential to excel at the highest of levels. The results in 2025 showed improvement in many areas and were above the national average at grades 4 and 5.
As a result of the high quality professional development available throughout the Trust this post would be ideal for an exemplary teacher who has a passion for science education and is ready to take on a leadership challenge.
