The Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join the school’s team. While your primary role will be to support learning across the classroom, there will be occasions where you will work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils who have Special Educational Needs (SEND), helping them to access the curriculum and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide general classroom support to the teacher and pupils.
* Assist in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
* Offer targeted support through 1:1 and small-group interventions for SEND pupils when required.
* Adapt learning resources to meet individual needs.
* Promote positive behaviour and a safe, inclusive learning environment.
* Monitor and track pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and the SENCO.
* Support pupils’ social and emotional development, encouraging independence and confidence.

The Ideal Candidate
* Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
* Experience working in a primary school setting is desirable.
* Knowledge of SEND strategies and interventions is an advantage.
* Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting children.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
