Job Title: Electrical Estimator Location: Leeds (Office-based - hybrid working can be discussed) Salary: Up to £60,000 £8,000 Car Allowance Benefits: 35 days annual leave Enhanced Pension, Job Description We are recruiting for an experienced and commercially astute Electrical Estimator to join our client's Leeds-based team. This role involves producing accurate, competitive, and commercially sound tenders across a diverse range of sectors including commercial, residential, public sector, education, industrial, retail, and leisure - with project values reaching up to £20 million. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering long-term progression, exposure to high-value projects, and the chance to work within an established and supportive pre-construction team. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for pre-designed and design & build projects up to £20m Collaborate with the bid management team to ensure timely submission of high-quality tenders Provide value engineering and alternative installation proposals to create commercial advantage Carry out detailed quantity take-offs and input data into the Extreme Estimating System Identify commercial risks and provide financial insight during tender stages Attend pre-tender, mid-tender, post-tender and client/site meetings Support contract negotiations and complete thorough handovers to project managers Manage workload effectively to meet strict submission deadlines Liaise directly with clients and respond professionally to all quotation queries Criteria / What We're Looking For Relevant electrical qualifications and strong experience within electrical estimating Proven ability to price electrical works accurately and competitively Experience delivering tenders across commercial and multi-sector projects Confident client-facing communicator with consultants and key stakeholders Strong IT capability including estimating software, Excel, Word, and MS Project Solid understanding of materials, construction methods and electrical installation techniques Strong commercial awareness and time-management skills Package & Benefits Salary up to £60,000 (DOE) £8,000 car allowance 35 days annual leave (including bank holidays) Enhanced pension Contractual sick pay Enhanced maternity/paternity (after qualifying period) Cycle to Work scheme On-site gym Ongoing CPD training and structured career progression Exposure to high-value, multi-sector projects How to Apply If you're an experienced Electrical Estimator looking for a long-term opportunity with high-value projects, strong benefits, and genuine progression, we'd welcome a confidential conversation.
