About the Role
In any kitchen, hygiene is paramount, and in a kitchen that produces thousands of meals every day, even more so! That’s why we are looking for passionate people with very exacting standards to join our hygiene team in our kitchen located in Dulcote, Wells. In these skilled roles you will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of our production kitchen are maintained as cleanly and safely as possible.
Working Hours
4 Days on – 4 Days Off, 6am-6pm
Role Responsibilities & Qualifications
* Knowledge of Food Safety Regulations (Desirable): Understanding and adherence to safety regulations such as HACCP to ensure compliance.
* Sanitisation Procedures: Proficiency in cleaning and sanitising equipment, surfaces, and production areas.
* Attention to Detail: Ability to spot potential hygiene issues and take proactive measures.
* Teamwork and Communication: Collaboration with production staff and supervisors to report concerns.
* Problem-solving Skills: Identify root causes of hygiene-related issues, troubleshoot sanitation equipment, and implement corrective actions.
Compensation & Benefits
* A competitive salary of £14.08 per hour, including all premiums.
* Pay increase to £14.66 per hour following successful completion of 3 months’ probation.
