SEMH Teaching Assistant
Team Educate are seeking a full time SEMH Teaching Assistant to work in alternative provisions in Bath.

Team Educate has been asked to recruit a SEMH Teaching Assistant to work directly with a school in the Bath area. This role would be working within an alternative provision supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health. The role of a SEMH Teaching Assistant is to work alongside an experienced network of teachers, keeping the students engaged and focused during the school day. There will be an element of both 1:1 working and also group work, allowing you to build core relations and rapport with these young learners.
Responsibilities
* Support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs within an alternative provision.
* Work 1:1 and in small groups to keep students engaged and focused during the school day.
* Collaborate with teachers and the school network to deliver effective support and build relationships with learners.
Requirements / Qualifications
* A passion for delivering excellent care.
* A valid DBS certificate, or be willing to put a new application through.
* A right to work in the UK.
* Contactable references covering the last 2 years.
