Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) – Brand New Veterinary Surgery | West London

Salary: £29,000 – £33,000 DOE

Full‑Time | 39 Hours Per Week | 4‑Day Week

This is not just another Registered Veterinary Nurse role. It is an opportunity to help shape a brand‑new, purpose‑built veterinary surgery in West London, where nursing is genuinely valued and fully utilised.

A passionate and proactive Registered Veterinary Nurse is sought to become part of the founding team, helping shape how the clinic operates, how the team collaborates, and how exceptional patient care is delivered from day one.

Backed by one of the UK’s largest independent, family‑owned veterinary groups, this role offers the chance to combine the excitement of a start‑up environment with the support, stability, and career opportunities of an established organisation.

Why This Veterinary Nurse Role is Different

Too many veterinary nursing jobs limit what nurses can do. This one will not.

The successful RVN will work within a state‑of‑the‑art veterinary surgery, purpose‑built to provide exceptional care for pets, comfort for clients, and a collaborative environment for colleagues.

The surgery has been designed to support modern veterinary practice and includes:

* 8 consult rooms
* 3 operating theatres
* Dedicated dental suite
* Separate imaging suite
* Spacious prep area
* Modern inpatient wards
* Advanced veterinary diagnostics

This role offers the rare opportunity to help influence how the practice operates, how teams work together, and how patient care is delivered from the very beginning.

The successful candidate will be encouraged to fully utilise their nursing skills across nurse consultations, Schedule 3 procedures, inpatient care, anaesthesia monitoring, diagnostics, radiography, and client education.

This is an opportunity not just to join a team – but to help build one.

The Role – Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)

As a key member of the clinical team, the Registered Veterinary Nurse will play a central role in delivering exceptional patient care and an outstanding client experience within a busy small animal veterinary practice.

* Supporting and mentoring student veterinary nurses where appropriate
* Delivering a warm, compassionate, and professional experience for every client and patient
* Playing an active role in the day‑to‑day running and success of the veterinary practice

The successful Veterinary Nurse will be hands‑on, proactive, organised, and committed to delivering excellent clinical standards.

Working Pattern

* Full‑time veterinary nurse position
* 4 x 9‑hour days per week
* Average 39‑hour working week
* Evenings and weekend rota

* Flexible working options considered

A strong work‑life balance is encouraged, with flexibility recognised wherever possible.
