Healthcare Recruitment UK are currently working alongside a reputable & quality focused care provider based in the North West of England. Their portfolio consists of a handful of large, purpose built & luxurious nursing homes that specialise in the provision of high quality general nursing and dementia care.

The organisation are experiencing a healthy rate of growth & are dedicated to maintaining this is in the future with the opening of more 5* care facilities in the region. In order to help manage this growth effectively, the company is currently looking to make an addition to their Senior Management Team through recruiting an experienced Quality & Compliance Manager.

Role Summary

To undertake quality assurance monitoring and evaluation of registered care services under the direction of the Head of Operations across the group’s care services.

To contribute to the development of a formal quality assurance and integrated clinical governance system aligned with national regulatory requirements.

To take the lead role in managing the annual Service User Satisfaction Survey as completed by Your Care Rating.

To contribute effectively as a member of the senior management team within the organisation

Main Responsibilities:

* To develop and oversee the implementation of a formal integrated Quality Assurance and Clinical Governance System that is outcome focused and which reflects national standards for adult care services and supports Home Managers and their teams to constructively review and improve the service provided.
* To develop a formal annual quality audit programme
* To implement and be responsible for managing, organising and carrying out quality audit visits to registered care services and the preparation and monitoring of action plans following such visits.
* To conduct routine checks and specific investigation work concerned with quality assurance issues of the services as requested by the Head of Operations.
* To provide advice and support to Home Managers in producing responses to statutory requests for information.
* To provide advice and support to Home Managers in producing responses to CQC improvement plans if required.
* To develop and provide a suite of quality performance management reports to the SMT & Board on a monthly basis.
* To liaise with the Care Quality Commission and other statutory bodies about regulatory matters on behalf of the organisation as required.
* To be aware of new legislation and ensure that colleagues are informed of the implications of any changes and those relevant policies and procedures are updated and communicated to ensure that they reflect current legal requirements at all times.
* To develop and manage policies, procedures and systems which drive the improvement of care delivery including influencing the Learning and Development strategy of the organisation.
* To contribute and play an active part in the out of hours on call care services rota as required.
* To continuously update own skills and knowledge in relation to the functions of the post.
* To undertake any additional duties as are consistent with the job title purpose and role.
* To travel across the whole organisation as required in fulfilling the requirements of the role.
