Key Responsibilities
* Manage the end‑to‑end sourcing process, from initial enquiry and RFQ through to supplier selection and product changes
* Negotiate pricing, lead times, MOQs, and commercial terms to ensure cost‑effective procurement
* Monitor market trends for precious metals and jewellery components to inform sourcing strategies and cost management
* Track supplier performance (quality, delivery, cost) and implement improvements where necessary
* Support cost‑saving initiatives and continuous improvement projects within the supply chain
* Assist in risk management by identifying potential supply chain disruptions and developing mitigation plans
* Process requisitions and place purchase orders to support the purchasing team
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need a minimum of two years’ purchasing experience, ideally in a manufacturing, engineering or automotive environment. You should have an analytical mindset with excellent communication and negotiation skills, high attention to detail, excellent Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems.
