Make UK is seeking skilled electrical professionals to join their team in providing essential training to the next generation of engineers. You will pass on your knowledge and experience to help secure the future of manufacturing. As a further education provider, Make UK offers an engaging and motivational workplace where you will mentor and guide Manufacturing & Engineering apprentices.
The role involves developing and delivering engineering courses with qualifications such as Pearson BTEC National Diplomas, EAL Vocational Awards, and City and Guilds qualifications. You will be teaching electrical skills up to level 3.
Applications are welcome from industry professionals looking to transition into education; training will be provided.
Responsibilities include:
* Developing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments
* Creating course materials, including handouts and reference resources
* Delivering practical training to apprentices and adults
* Creating a motivating learning environment
* Assessing learners' progress, providing feedback, and preparing progress reports
Experience and skills required:
* Time-served apprenticeship, relevant City and Guilds (Part 3) qualification, or equivalent
* Level 3 (or higher) teacher training qualification (desired)
* A1 and V1 certifications (desired)
* Industrial experience with knowledge of current industry standards (desirable)
* Good presentation and communication skills
