We have vacancies across our Tunbridge Wells Site, with a key focus on recruiting into our Accident and Emergency Department. About the Role
As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, supporting our nursing teams, and making a real difference to the lives of those we care for.
Responsibilities
* Assisting with essential patient care, ensuring comfort and dignity
* Monitoring and recording vital signs
* Providing urinary catheter care and specimen collection
* Supporting the wider clinical team in delivering high standards of care
Qualifications
* Committed to delivering high‑quality patient care
* Minimum of two years’ acute healthcare experience and ready to hit the ground running
* Hold a nationally approved Care Certificate obtained in a healthcare setting
* In the event you do not currently hold a nationally recognised Care Certificate, you can commence as a Trainee Healthcare Support Worker (Band 2) and complete the Care Certificate within the 6‑month probationary period (minimum 3 months). Successful completion allows progression to Band 3.
* We provide sponsorship only if you have a Care Certificate.

Induction Programme
After a corporate trust induction, you will attend the Clinical Induction Programme for Healthcare Support Workers, which starts on the first day of employment. The programme is full‑time, lasts two weeks and includes two supernumerary shifts in the clinical area (early and late). The remaining days are classroom‑based, running from 9am to 5pm.
