We are looking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing early years setting. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young children’s development in a warm and welcoming environment. Beginning June 2025.
Duties as a Nursery Teaching Assistant:
* Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and well-structured lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
* Assess and monitor pupil progress, using data to inform teaching and support individual needs.
* Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where all children feel valued.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to enhance pupil learning and wellbeing.
* Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities, school events, and staff development.
Ideal Nursery Teaching Assistant:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (EYFS/KS1 experience is welcome but not essential).
* Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
* High expectations of pupil behaviour and achievement.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills as a Nursery Teaching Assistant.
* A commitment to continuous professional development and teamwork.
