Senior Physiotherapist - Pelvic Support Specialist

Our Physiotherapy team at Exeter Hospital currently has an opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist specialising in Pelvic Health. This role will cover Pelvic Health outpatient services, with potential involvement in musculoskeletal outpatient care.

As part of our team, you'll have clinical support from our National Pelvic Health Lead, a large network of Pelvic Health physiotherapists, and your Regional Physiotherapy Lead, along with leadership from the onsite management team. The Role
We seek an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Physiotherapist to join our team. You will manage a diverse caseload, including urogynaecology, colorectal, pregnancy, postpartum, and post-operative patients, serving both insurance and self-paying clients. You will collaborate closely with hospital consultants to deliver integrated healthcare.
The hospital is well-equipped to support your development through mentorship and our training programmes. There is also scope to include musculoskeletal physiotherapy if you have maintained professional development in this area.
You will work within a multidisciplinary team including nurses, AHPs, and consultants to optimise patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

* Contribute to the weekend rota for orthopedic post-operative inpatients.
Candidate Requirements
* BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent; HCPC registration.
* Completion of a Foundation-level Pelvic Health course (POGP or Pelvic Health Academy); competence in internal pelvic assessment.
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in Women’s Health, managing urinary dysfunction and pelvic organ prolapse.
* Experience in Men’s Health is advantageous.
* Continued professional development in Pelvic Health and musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
* Post-qualification orthopaedic ward experience is preferred.
* Experience in NHS and private healthcare settings.
* Pilates and Mummy MOT qualifications are a plus.
* Strong communication and IT skills, with excellent organisational abilities.
