About the role
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team. This role will be accountable for:
1. Drive Strategic Alignment: Ensure all project outcomes align with MIB’s strategic objectives and translate delivery into measurable benefits, supporting the organisation’s mission and customer impact.
2. Champion User-Centred Design: Embed user-centred design and service thinking within delivery to ensure changes enhance the end-to-end experience for customers and stakeholders.
3. Lead Data-Driven Transformation: Manage projects involving data migration, data governance, and digital transformation, ensuring high data quality and supporting modernisation objectives.
4. Supplier and Stakeholder Management: Effectively manage third-party suppliers and complex stakeholder landscapes, including regulators and industry bodies, ensuring clear accountability, effective collaboration, and alignment with MIB’s objectives.
5. End-to-End Delivery: Lead the delivery of complex IT and business change projects of varying sizes, adhering to MIB’s delivery framework.
6. Project Progress: Clearly communicate project progress to stakeholders.
7. Create and Manage Plans: Support project delivery considering time, cost, and quality constraints.
8. Team Ceremonies: Set up and run forums promoting transparent communication and collaboration.
9. RAIDD Control: Identify and resolve issues, assess and mitigate risks, manage interdependencies, drive decision-making, and remove obstacles.
Ensure options are well explored and consequences understood. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritise requirements, ensuring delivery is managed through effective communication. Create a readiness plan with business and external stakeholders.
Role Requirements

* Ways of Working: Proven experience with Waterfall, Scaled Agile, Scrum, Kanban.
* Organisational Skills: Ability to manage complex projects, allocate resources effectively, and ensure timely completion.

* Proactive Risk Management: Experience in early issue detection, impact evaluation, and mitigation.
* Conflict Resolution: Ability to resolve disputes constructively, maintaining collaboration.

* Collaboration: Proven ability to work with outside suppliers and represent MIB professionally.
* Customer Focused: Dedicated to understanding customer expectations and enhancing user experience.
* Decision-Making: Strong analytical skills for evaluating options and making timely decisions.
* Data Driven Transformation: Experience with data projects in regulated environments.
* Finance and Resource Controls: Understanding of budget management and resource efficiency.
* Project Readiness: Ensures project includes provisions for data quality and requirement fulfillment.
Salary and Benefits
Salary: £64,000 per annum
Grade: 1235
Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
IT kit supplied; £320 start-up allowance; Hybrid working (2 days in-office in Milton Keynes, MK14)
