SUMMARY OF POSITION
Kinsley Materials is currently seeking a disciplined Estimator for our growing Precast team in York, PA. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing estimates for all types of precast concrete construction projects.
A successful candidate should have prior estimating experience, strong computer and communication skills, and a willingness to learn.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Review plans and specifications for completeness and prepare RFIs for additional information required
* Prepare detailed estimates and update the current project estimate for changes or additions to the scope of the project
* Prepare detailed takeoffs
* Stay abreast of current technology and construction methods in an effort to continually improve production and quality
* Must have time management skills and be able to meet bid schedules
* Perform other related duties to support the Precast team
REQUIREMENTS
* TITAN 3000 Precast Software experience is highly
* Advanced comprehension of drawings and specifications
* 5 years of previous estimating or detailing experience
* 2-4 year post-secondary degree
* Must be detail-oriented and have strong communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
* Ability to be a team player and also work independently
