Robert Half are currently partnering with a rapidly growing business who are now looking to appoint an Assistant Accountant to join them on a full-time and permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is AAT qualified and looking to progress into their career Reports to: Senior Management Accountant / Financial Controller Key Responsibilities: Support the Senior Management Accountant with the production of accurate and timely monthly management accounts and supporting schedules in accordance with current accounting and tax legislation Preparation of supporting information for the annual audit Monthly balance sheet reconciliations Analysis and review of staff expense claims to ensure claims are within the company staff expenses policy Ensure payments are raised in accordance with agreed payment terms with suppliers Assist with day-to-day cash management, forecasting and treasury Processing / checking supplier payment runs Bank reconciliations Fixed asset maintenance Key Requirements: AAT qualified or equivalent Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint Self-motivated individual with strong customer focus Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills being able to communicate at all levels of the business Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure What's on Offer: 25 days holiday Study support package Hybrid working (2 days working from home) A salary of up to £28,000 Annual bonus scheme If this sound like the opportunity for you, please apply today!
