Job Description: Would you like to earn during the school holidays whilst working in a fun and exciting environment?
The Job:
- Ensuring a high standard of physical, personal, emotional, social and intellectual care for all children in the club.
- Supervision of and support to the team members within the club thereby implementing high standards of quality practices.
- To be aware of and act in accordance with current legislation, good practice, club policies and procedures.
- The day-to-day management of the club including staff supervision, quality improvement and administration.
- To promote the high standards of the club at all times to parents, staff and visitors To report back to the Proprietor as required with information relating to staff queries, customer queries, quality of the provision and anything else deemed necessary.
- Planning fun activities Last but by no means least, to ensure that the children have fun!
The Commitment: This role is available for Monday - Friday 8.5 hour shifts between the hours of 8:00 - 18:00 of Buckinghamshire school holidays, excluding bank holidays & Christmas,
Salary and benefits: £18 .00 per hour depending on experience plus holiday pay
Free childcare for children aged 3 years and over
We are looking for:
- Someone who loves to see children of all ages enjoying different activities and having fun. You’ll be friendly and approachable, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You will be able to work closely with the proprietor to ensure that the club organisation and administration is of the highest quality. Must hold NVQ Level 3+ (or equivalent) qualification in Childcare or QTS At least 2 years’ experience working with children in a fast-paced environment, ideally in a management capacity.
- Safeguarding knowledge Experience of working in and leading within an Early Years setting (desirable) Paediatric First Aid training (desirable) We are committed to safeguarding; all staff will be required to have an enhanced DBS check and references before starting.
