FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
Salary: c£500pd
Location: Milton Keynes
We're supporting a prestigious and international organisation in their search for a Financial Controller who can support them through a busy year-end period on an interim basis.
This role will see you through until at least March 2026 and requires a technically strong accountant who is very familiar with IFRS and the preparation of group financial statements.
Responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:
Preparing detailed and accurate financial statements for various entities within the organisation, ensuring full compliance with IFRS standards and internal policies.
Supporting the delivery of the Annual Report by compiling comprehensive financial briefings for key meetings and stakeholders across different departments.
Working closely with the Big 4 when it comes to overseas operations.
Managing relationships with external auditors by coordinating audit files, resolving queries efficiently, and maintaining strict adherence to agreed timetables.
Working alongside senior leadership and operational teams, providing key financial insights and supporting strategic decision-making during the busy year-end period.
Ensuring timely completion of statutory accounts and reports, contributing to the organisation's reputation for reliability and transparency in financial disclosures.
Providing guidance and mentorship to junior members of the finance team as required, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Our client is looking for a chartered accountant (ACA, FCA, ICAS, CA, ACCA or FCCA)
Is on site 2 days per week
