Your Role and Responsibilities
1. Logistics Coordination:
1. Manage MACDs life cycle
2. Issue LOA-CFA and loading cross connects orders
3. Execute/manage local vendor technicians
4. Facilitate physical layer installation of network cabling
5. Physical circuit troubleshooting and fault analysis
6. Provide ongoing support and coordinate with vendors
7. Responsible for coordinating and tracking requests/orders
8. Post documentation on each implementation
9. Participate in On-Call Rotation for Ad-Hoc troubleshooting
2. Data Accuracy:
1. Inventory Database Improvement Strategy
2. Spares Inventory database
3. Update CDP/Internal documents
4. Ad-Hoc Tasks
3. Vendor Support:
1. Initial POC for all Vendor Queries
2. Create Colocation Shipments and track Deliveries
3. Schedule onsite technicians and provide site access requests
4. Submit Vendor Remote Hands Requests
5. Perform regular audits for all circuits, spares inventory
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
* 2+ years’ experience in datacenter or corporate/enterprise IT infrastructure
* Experience executing detailed MOPs and technical instructions
* Knowledge of relevant technologies: fiber optics, DWDM/CWDM devices
* Strong troubleshooting skills
* Experience planning and coordinating with field operation technicians
* Excellent oral and written communication
* Basic command-line proficiency in Linux/Unix and switch OS CLI
Preferred qualifications
* Experience coordinating/leading junior field operation technicians
* Anticipate problems in planning and limit project-impacting factors
* Strong documentation skills for technical processes & procedures
* Relevant Certifications: Server+, Network+, A+, CDCTP, CDCPM, etc.
