About the Company:
My client delivers all types of roofing & cladding systems including; industrial cladding, flat roofing, rainscreen cladding, refurbishments and repairs. Their roofing and cladding projects include warehouses, retail outlets, offices, manufacturing industry, schools, universities, hospitals and public buildings.
About the Role:
The Contracts Manager is responsible for the delivery of multiple projects on time, within the budget and to high standards. They will work in close collaboration with the Managing Director, Estimator, QS and Buyer to manage projects from award through to completion. The Contracts Manager will ensure that, from concept to completion, the pre-development and construction process is managed effectively, efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities:
Pre-construction:
1. Attend Estimating Handovers
2. Pre-planning of projects to ensure adequate resourcing
3. Client liaison
4. Appoint designers, review and approve drawings
5. Produce RFI schedules;
6. Agree prices with subcontract labour
7. Produce construction methodologies and tender programmes
8. Profit plan review with the QS
9. Complete material and plant requisitions for purchasing
