Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the hospitality industry, with a focus on food preparation, on-site operations, management and service. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, as well as the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. The General Manager will ensure that our standards for food safety, quality, and customer satisfaction are consistently met.
Responsibilities
* Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food production, service, and staff management
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly food safety standards
* Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking processes
* Supervise and train staff in culinary techniques, serving practices, and customer service excellence
* Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency
* Monitor inventory levels and manage supply orders to ensure optimal stock availability
* Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner to maintain high satisfaction levels
* Collaborate with other departments to achieve overall business goals
* Lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and high standards
Skills
* Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality sector
* Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking
* Excellent supervisory experience with a focus on team management
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production
* Exceptional leadership abilities to inspire and motivate staff
* Background in serving and customer service within a restaurant or hotel environment
* Familiarity with kitchen operations and barista experience is advantageous
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
