SEN Support Roles – September Start (Early Start Opportunities Available)

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are currently recruiting dedicated and resilient individuals for SEN support roles starting in September, with the opportunity to begin working this summer through trial days and short term experience placements.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to build or expand their experience within the SEN sector, whether you have worked in a professional capacity or have personal experience supporting individuals with additional needs.
About the Role
You will be supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs in educational settings. This may include working 1:1 or as part of a wider classroom support team.
The role can be both rewarding and challenging. We are looking for individuals who are:
Confident working with children with complex needs
Resilient and at times, “thick-skinned” when facing challenging behaviours
Patient, adaptable, and proactive in their approach
Passionate about making a positive impact every day
Experience in a school setting or previous 1:1 support work is highly desirable.
Start Dates
September 2026: Main intake for long-term and permanent opportunities
Summer 2026: Trial shifts, short-term placements, and experience opportunities available ahead of September

Compliance Requirements
To be considered, candidates must:
Hold (or be willing to obtain) a Child-Only Enhanced DBS, and register it on the Update Service
Provide a full working/education history
Be able to supply references covering up to 6 years, particularly where you have worked with children
Be proactive in obtaining and submitting required documentation
