Account Manager / Area Sales Manager / Technical Sales Engineer required to support growth across the UK and Ireland. This remote position focuses on managing key accounts and developing new business for a portfolio of technical marking and coding equipment, including dot peen, scribe, and laser marking machines, as well as industrial coding systems.
This role is ideal for a technically proficient and self-motivated sales professional with experience in capital equipment, industrial machinery, CNC or CMM systems, or automation components.

• £43,000 – £52,000 basic salary (DOE)

Account Manager / Area Sales Manager / Technical Sales Engineer
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and manage relationships with industrial clients across the UK and Ireland.
• Deliver technical demonstrations and solution-focused sales across a range of marking and coding technologies.
• Manage custom projects involving machine integration and coordinate with internal and external technical teams.
• Monitor and forecast sales pipeline, track opportunities, and maintain a disciplined sales process.
• Work closely with service and management teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project delivery.
• Travel across the UK and Ireland, including overnight stays.

Candidate Requirements
• Experience in technical sales roles such as Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager, or Account Manager.
• Background in industrial equipment, automation systems, CNC or CMM machinery is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and follow-up skills with a strong customer service focus.
• Aptitude for mechanical systems, IT literacy, and ability to analyse and progress bespoke projects.
• Highly self-motivated, organised, and reliable with the discipline to manage a remote workload effectively.
• Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, or Degree) is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence and unrestricted travel rights.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours when needed
