About the Role We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Technician to join a fast-paced food environment. This role is integral to ensuring that all products consistently meet customer specifications and food safety standards. The successful candidate will work closely with production and technical teams, contributing to the delivery of high-quality products. Key Responsibilities * Conduct online quality checks to ensure products meet customer specifications * Carry out intake inspections of raw materials and complete associated documentation * Perform label checks to ensure accuracy and compliance * Collect and submit shelf-life samples * Ensure all QA equipment is calibrated and cleaned in line with procedures * Accurately complete all QA documentation and reports * Identify and report quality issues to the Quality/Technical Manager in a timely manner * Work collaboratively with production teams to resolve quality concerns * Maintain strict adherence to QA procedures, food safety standards, and health & safety policies * Support other QA functions (e.g., intake, outloading) as required Key Requirements * Previous experience in a QA role within food manufacturing * Understanding of HACCP and BRC standards * Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines * Good communication skills and confidence in raising issues when necessary * Basic IT skill...
