Overview
The Cast Metals Federation is currently looking for an experienced Office Administrator. As part of a small but dynamic team based at our new office location just off junction 13 of the M6 between Stafford and Penkridge, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the association. The Membership Services Officer will ensure proper flow of office procedures and support the office manager by carrying out general office duties, including but not limited to providing administrative support, assisting in planning and arranging events and meetings, creating agendas and taking meeting notes, attending workshops and conferences when requested, responding to calls and emails from both member companies and third parties, and maintaining the member database and website.
Your work is at the heart of what we do and is important for our success. Aside from the administration, you will play a pivotal role in engaging with members, coordinating events and activities, and promoting the full value of membership benefits. You’ll support membership retention and growth, assist with onboarding new members, and act as the first point of contact for various membership-related queries.
About You / Qualifications
* Outstanding administration experience
* Methodical and thorough approach to work

* Ability to multi-task and prioritise projects
* Ability to stay calm under pressure
* Proficient in using IT and communications tools (e.g. Microsoft Office, Teams, MailChimp)
* Strong customer service orientation and a collaborative working style
* Self-motivation and the ability to manage your own workload
* A collaborative approach and a commitment to getting things done right
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* Comfortable working remotely and independently with the ability to travel within the UK occasionally
* Experience working within a membership organisation, professional body, or not-for-profit
* Customer service or B2B / B2C membership experience
* Familiarity with website content management and social media, especially LinkedIn
Responsibilities

Location, Travel & Working Pattern
Based at our new offices (ST18 9FJ) with occasional home working and occasional UK travel to attend trade shows and member meetings for engagement. On-site cafe, air-conditioned offices, and set in rolling countryside.
