As a Science Teacher at our school in Harrow, you will be responsible for creating engaging and interactive lessons that foster curiosity and a love for scientific discovery in our students. Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons that cater to the needs and abilities of students
* Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to enhance students' understanding and interest in Science
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development
* Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment for students
* Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement cross-curricular initiatives
* Participate in staff meetings, professional development activities, and school events
* Build positive relationships with students, parents, and other stakeholders
Requirements
Education and Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Specialism in Science or a related field
* Prior experience teaching Science in a school setting is desirable
* Passionate about Science education and inspiring students
* Excellent knowledge of the Science curriculum
* Effective communication and classroom management skills
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
* Strong organizational and time management abilities
