We are looking for a commercially astute Senior Merchandising Manager to lead our Merchandising Operations. With an aesthetic that is intrinsically inspired by the brand’s British roots, the products are internationally recognised and appreciated for their pioneering use of materials and techniques.About the RoleYou will have the day to day responsibility for managing the Merchandising Operation to maximize commercial opportunities through effective management of inventory, driving sales through improved availability, forecasting, reducing mark down and maximizing profit.Trading: Provide weekly summary of KPI’s within departments of responsibility and the wider business, relating to sales, stock, profit, versus budget and previous yearKey contact for all analysis relating to departments of responsibility and the wider businessOversee weekly stock sales and intake forecastsManage intake flow into business to hit monthly forecasts, drive sales and minimize risks and communicate to relevant departmentsManagement of the correct movement and forecast of inventory and allocationsProvide analysis and summary of promotional activityEnsuring activity and event calendar for the business to prioritize launch and salePartner with other teams to improve performance and drive best practicesPlanning and Forecasting: Work with sales team and supply chain management to improve forecast accuracyAnalyse every aspect of bestsellers (for example, the bestselling price points, family or styles) and ensure that they reach their full potential and review cannibalization.Monitor slow sellers and take action to reduce prices/set promotions or discontinue products as necessaryProvide historical analysis to develop planning forecastsMaintain planning processes and systems to improve forecasting accuracyAbout YouWe are looking for an experienced Senior Merchandising Manager with strong commercial and analytical skills, able to propel our Merchandise Operation to the next level.Strong merchandising experience, industry experience would be a plus but not essentialProven track record of delivering commercial success in high-growth, fast-paced businessesExperienced in delivering a large volume of SKU’sData-driven mindset, proactive in identifying risks and opportunities - and taking decisive action to resolve themCommercially sharp and agile, confident making trading decisions at pace in a constantly evolving landscapeHighly analytical and innovative, with strong numerical skills and a genuine passion for productPrevious experience of stock management across multi sites using a stock control systemImpeccable standards and attention to detailExtremely proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skillsExperience in using NAV, JET and CUBE is preferentialFor the right candidate, we will offer a competitive remuneration package alongside the opportunity to build an extraordinary career within one of the world’s leading design agencies and lifestyle brands.
