We are working with a friendly and inclusive mainstream primary school in the B20 area of Birmingham, who are seeking a Behaviour Mentor to support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference and helping pupils stay engaged and focused in the classroom.
The Role:
Supporting pupils with behavioural needs on a 1:1 and small group basis
Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
Assisting the class teacher with classroom management
Implementing school behaviour policies and reward systems
Building strong, positive relationships with pupils
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with children or young people (school, youth work, coaching, etc.)
Confident managing behaviour in a calm and consistent manner
Positive, proactive, and resilient attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine interest in education and pupil development
