Job Overview
The West Herts College Group is currently seeking a dynamic, self‑motivated, and experienced hourly paid English lecturer to work as part of the College’s dedicated English team.
The successful candidate will be involved in delivering, developing, and preparing Stepping Stones and GCSE English.
Responsibilities
* Deliver, develop, and prepare Stepping Stones and GCSE English lessons.
* Support vocational staff with embedding English into vocational courses, providing individual and team support.
* Support the diagnostic process and work with students at a variety of levels.
* Contribute to the quality process by providing evidence of outstanding and innovative schemes of work, lesson plans and individual learning plans.
Qualifications
Ideally, you will have considerable experience of teaching English with the ability to be creative and adaptable in your approaches to delivery to support the learning of students at varying levels. You should have the excellent teaching skills and subject knowledge required to be successful in this role.
