Are you a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant with a DBS on the Update Service ? Looking for an exciting new opportunity to make a real difference in student’s lives? Prospero Teaching are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants in New Milton.
This specialist setting caters for children and young people, years 7 to 11 who find mainstream education difficult. The school prides themselves on recognising the barriers to education of their young people.
Contract Details:
Location – New Milton, Hampshire
Position – SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) TA
Contract or position start date – ASAP
Duration / Likely Duration – Ongoing
Contract type: Temp/Perm
Full time/part time – Full time
Minimum rate of pay – From GBP 85.10
Hours – 8:30 – 15.00
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
* Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent (preferable but not desirable)
* GCSES: English & Maths
* Minimum 1 year working with children with SEN needs
* Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (or willingness to complete)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional child related references that cover the last 2 years
