Our client is seeking aService Leadto oversee the day-to-day operational management of an on-site laboratory services team. This is a permanent role based inMacclesfield, responsible for delivering high-quality stock management and laboratory support services within a regulated scientific environment.
The Service Lead will provide leadership, ensure compliance with health and safety and quality standards, and act as the primary interface between the service team, key stakeholders, and the scientific community.
The Role
As Service Lead, you will have full responsibility for the operational performance of your team, ensuring contracted services are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard. You will manage workload prioritisation, team development, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage a team of5-10 laboratory support associates, setting priorities and ensuring delivery of daily activities
2. Provideline and performance management, including coaching, development, and performance reviews
